Medical Malpractice
Our client, a north Texas man, woke up from bladder surgery only to find that doctors had amputated his penis without permission. He was having surgery to remove a cancerous bladder, which would likely include the removal of his prostate gland. The doctors removed the patient’s penis after they mistakenly thought the cancer had spread to the male sex organ. A pathology test indicated that the penile tissue was not cancerous.

A Texas jury awarded more than $3 million, including $2.25 million in punitive damages to our clients, the family of an 84-year-old man who died after breaking his hip during his stay at an Electra, Texas, nursing home. Workplace Accident – Wrongful Death
