Tortious Wrongful Interference in a Business Relationship

You can only go so far in the intentional meddling with the business affairs of someone else. Some prohibited practices include:

  • Stealing employees when your purpose is to damage their present employer, instead of obtain their skills and services to benefit your own business.
  • Lying to someone else’s employees to get them to disclose a former employer’s trade secrets.

Hiring someone else’s employees is not illegal, but doing so for an illegal purpose is.
